Eleven Years and Still at It in St. Paul, Minnesota

What can we say about Kate?  Since May 30, 2006, retired English teacher (and retired flight attendant!!!) Kate Mura has been sharing love notes to her home in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She began with a "Welcome" sign from the school from which she had retired after teaching for 26 years.  And, she put into words the thought that many of use have eventually arrived at, namely, that by taking photographs she was learning how to see more clearly.

Over the years, we have said goodbye to a long-time furry walking companion and cheered as Wild Wendy recently entered her life.  Kate shares weekly images of women in her world, shares walks around her neighborhood, lets us celebrate family anniversaries with her and invites us to attend art exhibitions and cultural events.  Congratulations, Kate, for eleven excellent years of Visual St. Paul.

Actually, it will probably be first on Facebook, or Twitter, or maybe you'll hear about it from the nice old guy next door. Whatever the case, if you have news to share, how about sharing it with us, so we can share it with everyone and actually make these pages useful?
